Tami Bonnett-Admi is the consultant you didn’t know you needed. Once she is there, she becomes an indispensable part of your team. Tami becomes enmeshed in your company’s mission and is driven to deliver high quality results at an affordable rate. I’ve worked with some consultants who come in, throw advice around, and leave, costing us time and money, with mediocre results. That is the exact opposite of our experience with 3GEM.

Our History

3GEM’s CEO and principal, Tami Bonnett-Admi, is a proven leader in the educational space. Tami is passionate about working with organizations to guide the development of the processes, teams and frameworks needed to grow and scale. Throughout her career in both small and large companies, she has worked alongside and led phenomenal teams to build, roll out, iterate and grow a vast array of products and services. She's never served in a role that existed prior to her taking it on and loves nothing more than laying the groundwork, strategy and tactical plan to build new products, processes, teams and solutions.

Tami conducts her professional life according to a few trite but true tenets: you do more and better business with people you like; a happy customer always pays off in spades; and contribute like you own the place, even if you don't. It is the latter that led her to founding 3GEM Consulting.

Tami spent her career working with K12, Higher Ed, Corporate and Government clients to design, build and implement complex learning, product and professional services solutions. Before starting up 3GEM, Tami served as the VP of Learning at Knowledge to Practice (K2P), a medical education start-up, where she lead the development, roll-out and continuous improvement of all K2P learning products offered in partnership with the country’s best Academic Medical Centers (AMC). Prior to K2P, she headed the Learning Technology Solutions business unit at Sevatec, Inc., leading a large team that provided content management, human capital and learning solutions to more than 20 government agencies, and bringing in more than $60M revenue in her first year. Before that, she established the Consulting team at Moodlerooms (acquired by Blackboard), an LMS company with more than 900 higher education, K12, association and non-profit customers, where she built and oversaw a breadth of professional service offerings, including instructional design, platform customization, training, implementation and onboarding and consulting. Tami has also served as a lead contributor to a US Trade and Development Agency-Malaysia joint project, aimed at determining the Malaysian educational sector’s preparedness to adopt e-learning in engineering and advanced manufacturing training as part of K12 and post-secondary initiatives. And as part of Blackboard’s select Enterprise Consulting team, Tami worked with respected Academic institutions, such as Trinity College Dublin of Ireland, to assess organizational readiness and plan strategically for its first online learning program, including working with multiple Trinity departments such as Academic affairs, instructional design, student services, technology support and more.

In her spare time, Tami spends as much time as she can with her husband, three kids, two dogs and cat, all of whom sometimes make appearances on Zoom calls. Most weekends she spends on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, collecting sea glass, enjoying the sun glistening on the water, and star gazing on the porch.
